Position Description Project Manager Must have minimum 2 years SP experience in any capacity, minimum 3 years managing platform level projects Provide project management for multiple medium to large projects and ongoing work with SharePoint team aligning with enterprise content management objectives and corporate objectives. Project management duties include: project planning, estimating, detail tracking, and monitoring of task completion against schedule and reporting of status. Technical experience with large distributed corporate intranets including content management systems (SharePoint 2007) required. Roles & Responsibilities include: Provide Project Management for all SharePoint platform engineering projects. Utilize Software Lifecycle program for project management. Provide subject matter expertise on project management to SharePoint team including ability to lead multiple projects. Lead the project processes including Planning, Design, Build, Test and Deploy utilizing our web sites and portal team members and appropriate shared services resources. Work with shared services coordinator to assign appropriate resources for medium to large projects for the business, along with other shared services teams to manage requirements and tasks. Support web site and portal team objectives in continuous improvement of processes for internal and external sourcing and maintaining high customer satisfaction level. Expectation to contribute to best practices for web site and portal implementation. Report time against valid projects using various tools required by client. Responsible for project lead to track milestones for intranet migration projects of portals and web sites. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Strong experience in all MS Office tools, including MOSS 2007 & MS Project. PM Certification or equivalent experience with SLC methodology execution. Education: Bachelor of Science or Business Administration, majoring in Computer Science, MIS, IT or business related field.
