Gentle Ben – A book you’ll love even if you don’t like bears

The story is set in a small Alaskan fishing town. Mark, a little boy who lives with his parents is lonely after the death of his brother. From this loneliness blooms a beautiful friendship between Mark and a most unlikely pet, an enormous Alaskan brown bear, Ben.

Mark visits his friend every day after school, in an old shed where he is chained and ill treated by his cruel master Fog Benson. A tender friendship develops. When Mark is caught with Ben, Fog talks his parents into buying Ben.

What follows is a touching tale - Ben’s willingness to tag along with Mark, their trips in search of food, and their joyous meanders. A crisis develops after Ben attacks his former owner. Everybody in town clamors for Ben's destruction.  Although devastated by the potential loss of his best friend, Mark accepts the wisdom of sending Ben away. Eventually, Mark and his parents are reunited with their prodigal pet who manages to save his adopted family when they are confronted with man-made danger. In the end, Mark's love for and commitment to Ben and his well being, ultimately save the brown bear from destruction.

If you love animals and are interested in what you just read, then I recommend you read Gentle Ben, I recommend that you recommend it to your little kids.

The book will teach them to love animals and not be cruel them, it will also teach them what friendship it, even though it is between man and beast.

Few other books by Walter Morey are Runaway Stallion, The Bear of Friday Creek, and the Lemon Meringue Dog.

Hey superb blog! Does running a blog such as this require a large amount of work?
I have very little understanding of programming
but I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyways, if you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic however I simply wanted to ask.

Ferrets are captivating little pets with their cute faces and comical antics.
If your dog is still a puppy then chances are introducing the two would go pretty smooth.
This will also help them interact with you and ferrets love
to cuddle.
